You can visit with the coyotes, see how a prairie dog lives, or experience some of the wolves up close and personal...just be careful they don`t steal your hat! Kids are welcome, but must be properly supervised to fully experience our facility. We have found children under 5 years of age rarely have the attention span necessary for the family to enjoy the visit. There are many picture-taking opportunities as well as the joy of watching the animals interact... Educational visits can be arranged at our facility or at schools and other locations. Shy Wolf Sanctuary is a great education and experience center. A Florida non-profit corporation. Since 2001, Shy Wolf Sanctuary has been totally run through volunteer efforts. Animals take 24/7 commitment and we have a variety of indoor and outdoor needs. Animal Care (cleaning cages, feeding, medications), Fundraising and Grants (event planning & grant writing), Office /Secretarial (scheduling & confirming appointments, filling, data entry, quick books, organizational), Educational (tours and outings), and Fence building (new construction, repair & maintenance). Your class, school or organization can easily become involved with these amazing animals.
